Stephan Decatur

When Thomas Jefferson wanted an American response to the Barbary pirates the American Navy sent Stephan Decatur to handle the problem. He took care of it by landing on Moroccan shores, blowing up some of the buildings and destroying some of the ships. The Barbary pirates never again bothered American ships. Once again an American President called upon the Navy to solve a very distressing problem. Navy seals took care of it. Stephan Decatur was proclaimed a hero of our Country. Will these brave seals also achieve hero status?

  • Heroes? Never in the eyes of our liberal "Lame Stream Media" (LSM).

Today the AP claimed that the actions of our brave Seals killing the three Somali pirates will inflame them to exact revenge and recruit more people to their ranks. So by their logic we should not prosecute criminals, murders, rapists for fear of making them angry and recruiting more criminals. IDIOTS!!

  • Is Rush part of that LSM....

"They were kids. The story is out, I don’t know if it’s true or not, but apparently the hijackers, these kids, the merchant marine organizers, Muslim kids, were upset, they wanted to just give the captain back and head home because they were running out of food, they were running out of fuel, they were surrounded by all these U.S. Navy ships, big ships, and they just wanted out of there. That’s the story, but then when one of them put a gun to the back of the captain, Mr. Phillips, then bam, bam, bam. There you have it, and three teenagers shot on the high seas at the order of President Obama."

  • The problem with only reading transcripts of Rush's show rather than listening is you fail to know when he is being sarcastic.
